The Bethlehem Harvest Festival

Typically the festival occurs during the beginning of the harvest, around mid-October. In past years, it’s been located on Main Street and the courtyard of the Sun Inn. This is just a short drive from Sayre Mansion! The festival typically lasts from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., though the various tastings only last three hours.

Beer Tasting

Purchase your passport for the beer tasting! In past years, the tasting was held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Main Street. There have been up to 15 different breweries included in previous years, including local businesses. Try something from Lehigh Valley Homebrew or Fegley’s Brew Works. There is a limited supply of beer available, so make sure to get there early!

Wine Tasting

Explore the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail without ever having to leave Main Street! You’ll be able to sample the best of the best from wineries near Bethlehem, PA, and further out. Try something from Amoré Vineyards and Winery or Blue Mountain Vineyards and Cellars. Again, samples are limited so try to get there early. In past years, the tasting has occurred from 1 to 4 p.m.

Soup Tasting

After all that beer and wine, try something a little more hearty! Buy your passport for the soup tasting downtown. Again, in past years the tasting has occurred from 1 to 4 p.m. and has included samples from 11 different downtown vendors. Visit the different merchants, chat with the staff, and try incredible soups!

Family Fun Zone

The Bethlehem Harvest Festival isn’t just for adults! Kids (and parents) will love the Family Fun Zone! In past years, the zone has included pumpkin painting, a petting zoo, and puppet making! Yes, that’s right: Mock Turtle Marionette Theater has led puppet-making workshops at the festival. Let’s hope they’ll return for future years!
