Garlic lovers rejoice! The Easton Garlic Fest has announced that the 2021 festival will be held October 2 and 3. This stinky celebration showcases the beautiful bulb that is garlic. There will be live music, vendors selling their best garlicky concoctions, and a delicious smell that will travel for miles. If you’re feeling confident, enter any of the available contests. Or, if you’re interested in expanding your culinary skills, attend one of the new culinary classes that will be offered. No matter what you do, you’re sure to have a great time at the Easton Garlic Festival.

Eat, Drink, and Stink at the Easton Garlic Festival
Eat
While the list of chefs and restaurants participating in the festival hasn’t been announced yet, there is a list of vendors available to peruse on the website. The vendors range from crafters, service providers, packaged food vendors, garlic farmers, and vendors serving up freshly cooked food showcasing garlic. You’ll never go hungry at the Easton Garlic Festival and there’s plenty for you to bring back, whether you’re looking for farm fresh artisanal cheeses (which pair perfectly with a tangy garlic spread) or garlic vinegars. There’s even a vendor selling treats for your four-legged friends at home! Don’t miss out on trying garlic chocolate chip cookies from Mountaindale Farms! And be sure to bring back some garlic seed kits from Josie Porter Farm so you can grow your own!
Drink
Ever wonder which artisanal cocktails pair perfectly with garlic? Now’s your chance to find out with the new garlic bites and cocktail pairing! Or you can visit the beer tent to get a nice cold refreshment to go with your stinky snacks. If you’re looking for something to bring home with you, there are wineries and distilleries that will be selling their goods. And the drinks are just as unique and delicious as the food! Oaks Craft Distillers, who has attended the festival in past years, sell vodka, gin, rye whiskey, and bourbon made out of their in-house grown grains. Boyd’s Cardinal Hollow Winery offers a jalapeno wine and a hazelnut port along with their more traditional drinks.
Stink
Are you a fan of competition? Don’t miss judging the Gastric Garlic People’s Choice Contest, which features local chef’s most delicious bites, or the Dangerous Desserts Contest, which showcases local bakers’ garlic-laden desserts. Line up quickly! In past years, only the first 500 have been able to cast their vote for the savory category and only 200 have been able to sample the sweet. If you’re still in the mood for some competition, watch the Farm to Table Iron Chef Cook-Out, the 3 Mayors Cook-Off, or the First Responders Cook-Off.
