The Sofa Kings’ New Year’s Eve Party

For a raucous New Year’s Eve with great music, grab a ticket to The Sofa King’s New Year’s Eve Party! If you’ve never heard of The Sofa King’s, you’re in for a treat. They’re a favorite music group around these parts. They’re a high-energy, ten-piece band from southeastern Pennsylvania. The Sofa Kings play just about every type of music, from dance, Motown, R&B, classic rock, and the biggest hits of today! They will be performing at Musikfest Cafe, which is one of the best venues in town. Tickets are a steal! Advanced tickets cost from $15 to $20, with the VIP tickets costing $79. Prices go up on the day of the show, so definitely make sure you get your tickets early. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9:30.

For a family-friendly New Year’s Eve event, stop by Peepsfest, a two-day festival celebrating (what else?) that marshmallow-y treat we all adore! The festival runs December 30 and 31st, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. the first day and 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. the second. This is a fantastic event for families with kids who might not make it all the way to midnight on New Year’s Eve. You’ll still get the fun and excitement of a ball drop with the “peep drop,” a four-foot, nine-inch, 200-pound lit Peeps chick that will descend on the second day of the festival at 5:15 p.m. Don’t miss this sweet twist on a classic New Year’s celebration!
