Deposit & Cancellation Policy

  • Deposit:
    All reservations will have a deposit of one night’s room and tax charged 3 days in advance of arrival date.
  • Off-Season Cancellation:
    If cancelled within 3 days of arrival, the deposit will be collected as the cancellation fee.
  • December Deposit:
    All reservations will have a non-refundable deposit of one night’s room and tax charged at time of booking.
  • In-Season and High Demand Cancellation:
    If cancelled within 7 days of arrival, the entire stay will be collected as the cancellation fee.
  • High Demand Seasons:
    All reservations will have a deposit of one night’s room and tax charged at the time of the booking.
  • High Demand Seasons:
    College Graduation Weekend
    College Pickup/Drop Off

  • “No Show” Policy:
    In the event of a “no show” the entire amount of your reservation will be charged to the credit card on file. Special promotions and offers may have different cancellation policies.

Fees: At Settlers Hospitality, we’re investing in our team by launching programs that enable our staff to live and play in the community where we work. As part of that commitment your housekeeping service charges are included in your folio and will be listed as a cleaning fee. Therefore, any additional gratuities while appreciated, are discretionary. Our per stay cleaning fees are $7.50 plus 6% Pennsylvania Sales Tax and 4% Local Lodging Tax per Guestroom.

Dog-Friendly: We have three Dog-Friendly rooms on property and allow up to two dogs per room. Please call us directly to ensure we can accommodate your pet or service dog. Additional paperwork must be completed upon check in and a fee of $35 per night, per dog will be applied to your folio.

No Elevator: Please note that we are a historic property and do not have elevators. We are always available to assist with luggage, but if you require a first floor accommodation, please call us directly to arrange it at time of booking.

Room Types: We reserve the right to change your room due to unforeseen issues. We will do our best to maintain your desired room type in these situations.

Settlers Cares Donation:  A $1 charitable donation is added to each guest reservation to support our non-profit, Settlers Cares. The Settlers Cares Foundation was created to help employees or affiliates who are facing financial hardship due to unexpected life events. The goal is to provide short-term, emergency support to employees or eligible dependents.

Green Lodging Donation: A $2 donation is automatically added to directly benefit the important work of the Wildlands Conservancy. To date, the Bethlehem based organization has protected more than 55,000 acres including 14 nature preserves that are open to the public. Read more
