Join us on March 23 (SOLD OUT) or October 19, 2024 for a unique event at The Sayre Mansion. Our evening will begin with a brief oral history of the mansion followed by a dinner prepared by Karen Hunter. A cash bar will be available. While enjoying your dinner, our friends from Wyoming Valley Ghost Tours will go over the various types of investigative techniques and the latest equipment used to conduct Paranormal Investigations. After, you will be led out to conduct your own paranormal investigation of the mansion, including the hot spots listed below:Robert Sayre’s Suite- Located on the first floor, this room features Mr. Sayre’s original office (part of the 1898 addition) which is still intact at the back of the room.Room 23- This second floor space was the dressing room and sleeping quarters for the lady of the house and Mr. Sayre had four in his lifetime. Guests have reported seeing reflections of women in the mirror in this room.The basement & original wine cellar- Dinner will be served in our spacious Asa Packer room which is the foundation of the 1898 addition. Across the way, Sayre’s original wine cellar still exists.
