2. Amish Country

If you’re looking for cool places to visit in PA, Lancaster Amish Country is a must. Lancaster is America’s oldest settlement and is home to thousands of Amish and Pennsylvania Dutch residents. On the 12-acre village grounds, guests can take a horse & buggy ride, tour the farmhouses and windmills, and explore a variety of shops and stores that will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.

3. Philadelphia Historic District

Home to the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and other American Revolutionary sites, Philadelphia, PA, is the best place to learn about the rich history of our nation. Guests can visit the Betsy Ross House, stroll through Franklin Square, or even partake in a Colonial Pub Crawl or historic district tour. Day trips in Philadelphia aren’t complete without an ooey-gooey cheese steak from Lee’s Deli, so don’t leave the city without one!

4. Hersheypark

About an hour away from our inn is the “sweetest place on Earth” – Hersheypark! An ideal day trip for families, the town of Hershey offers 23-acre botanical gardens, a walk-thru zoo, and, of course, the famous amusement park. Guests can enjoy roller coasters, family rides, and water rides as well as live music performances, arcade games, and more. When it’s time for lunch, grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and snack stands located throughout the park and enjoy relaxing in the heart of Hershey.

5. Pocono Mountains

A trip to the Poconos provides endless fun for all ages, no matter what time of year you visit! Here, guests can ski and snowtube in the winter, hike beautiful waterfall trails in the fall, or boat on over 2,400 miles of lakes and rivers during the warm summer months.
