About the Great Allentown Fair
The Great Allentown Fair has been a much-loved tradition in the Lehigh Valley for more than a century and a half. The fair began in 1852 and is still deeply rooted in the agricultural traditions on which it was founded. The 46-acre fairground located at 302 N. 17th Street is owned and operated by the Lehigh County Agricultural Society.
Events and Activities at the Great Allentown Fair
The Great Allentown Fair has everything you could want in a traditional country fair with the added benefit of great entertainment and activities. Of course, there are agricultural displays and competitions that continue in the long tradition of the fair. These events include judging panels for different livestock, 4-H projects, food products, flowers, and other farm products as well as domestic and fine arts. Along the Great American Midway, you’ll also find tons of fun carnival rides and delicious food. Plus, there is a calendar of free daily events that include music, a 4-H petting zoo, stunt team demonstrations and even racing pigs!

Every year the Great Allentown Fair presents performances from big name acts from multiple genres. This year on the Grandstand stage, you can see country superstars as well as rap sensations.
