This celebration of Celtic heritage and culture includes pipe band competitions, U.S. National Highland Games Championship, a Showing of the Tartan Parade, haggis competition, fiddle competition, whiskey tasting, dancing, and Celtic crafts!
Bethlehem Harvest Festival | October
Harvest Fest, October 5-6, takes place in downtown Bethlehem and includes craft vendors, live music, and an array of wonderful food and beverages. There is soup, wine, and beer tastings, for connoisseurs of all types. It’s a must-attend event in what has become known as the “Festival City.”
Runner’s World Half Marathon & Festival| October
The Runner’s World Half Marathon & Festival is another favorite fall tradition. The race runs through the historic neighborhoods of Bethlehem. Runners will see historic homes, some of the original 1741 settlement, Moravian College, and the Bethlehem SteelStacks. The festival weekend, October 18-20, includes the race, a pre-race dinner, live music, a trail run, seminars, and more.
Lehigh-Lafayette Football Game | November
The Lehigh-Lafayette football game is known as “The Rivalry.” This year will mark the 155th meeting of the teams and you don’t want to miss out if you’re a football fan. The Lehigh Mountain Hawks will face off against the Lafayette Leopards on November 23 in four quarters of competition rich in tradition. It’s the longest running and most-played football rivalry in the nation.
