The Moravian Book Shop was first founded in 1745 by the Moravian Church. It is the oldest continuously operating bookstore in the country and the second-oldest in the world. This store features several departments. Aside from the bookstore (which contains at least 10,000 volumes of literature), there is a gift shop, a candy counter, and the Moravian Book Shop cafe. You’ll also find a room dedicated to Moravian and Bethlehemian history.

These book signings range from children’s books, non-fiction books, and suspenseful works. In other words, there’s a little bit of everything. Any book-lover knows that attending a signing can be a fun way of discovering your next favorite work. Another great way is attending book clubs. They’re unique in their design and the Moravian Book Shop carries many varieties, from small to large, lighted to unlighted, in many different materials.
