Visit The Banana Factory
One of the many buildings on the SteelStacks campus is The Banana Factory, one of the premier art galleries in Bethlehem, PA! In total, the Banana Factory is composed of six buildings that house the galleries, artist studios, and classrooms. Check out the permanent and temporary exhibits and take one of the many classes available at the campus. The Banana Factory is a must for any lover of art!
Visit the Moravian Book Shop
Now that you’ve experienced the contemporary art scene in Lehigh Valley, take a trip back in time! Visit Moravian Book Shop in Bethlehem! The shop is located in the downtown area. It’s the oldest continually running bookshop in the United States and the second-oldest bookshop in the world. It was first founded in 1745 by the Moravian Church and has since expanded to include several departments. These include a gift shop, candy counter, a cafe, and (of course) the bookshop! The book department houses over 10,000 volumes on its shelves so make sure to give yourself plenty of time to browse.
